Ta! No-one seems to know. One witness said that they had seen a youth running off across the car park. Of course only the polis can request cctv with a crime number and mum doesn't feel up to involving them.

Her main ambition is to get out and about again!

Thank you. There are occasional bag thefts in her hometown and Mum always wears her handbag across herself. It maybe that someone was after it. Who knows? Women of that age seem obsessed with carrying a handbag. Mrs Jer doesn't and she rarely carrise money on her either.

Just as a matter of interest ....... My mum is now back on her feet and back in her old routine of popping down town, meeting the other Merry Widows in the coffee shop, having lunch, and visiting the hairdressers. She thanks you for your good wishes.
