A former teacher has been jailed after admitting making indecent films of more than 120 pupils using hidden cameras at a boarding school.

Jonathan Thomson-Glover, 53, of Wadebridge, pleaded guilty to making the films at Clifton College, Bristol, and also at an address in Cornwall.

Taunton Crown Court heard the victims aged between 12 and 17 were secretly filmed over a 16-year period.

Judge David Ticehurst jailed Thomson-Glover for three years and nine months.

3 years and 9 months just sounds like far to little jail time for this. 120 pupils over a 16 year period have had their privacy invaded and stored on film/video.

Maybe he should have got 16 years, one for each year of his offence.

Saw this on the news and it really doesn't surprise me... It's sick and it's the worst of the worst...But with small 'nanny' cameras everywhere nowadays i'm pretty sure it's going on just like this a lot more all over the place!

What is to stop someone placing a tiny camera in a public bathroom and charging people to watch it? I would bet a fair few quid there are people who both charge AND pay for this type of thing!

But how do you stop it? Maybe train cleaning staff? Who know every nook and cranny of the places they clean on a daily basis to spot anything that's not normally there? But even that is hard as they are so small....
