Regardless of motive, the conversation was fine until thugboy Danny got all angry gorilla on him.

I think a gorilla would have eaten the sarnie TBF

Yes, Kaffy. She has true lifelong friends from home who continually tell her how stupid she is to trust people like she does. She`s travelled extensively, had great experiences but mostly comes home let down by who she thought were her friends.

I can imagine that.   I so wanted to like her when she went in - but felt a bit let down by her choice of friends, so that makes sense.    I don't think she's a bad person though.

Not necessarily. How does he know what Ash was told before she did Judge Rinder?

I wasn`t disagreeing with that. Like Marc, I think she could have taken a different route instead of using a tv show to recover her money.

Yes...but she did say she wasn't going to get it back that way

She did.. but small claims court would have cost her very little if she was sure she was in the right. I think tv exposure is what it`s about. I don`t watch Judge Rinder but I believe there`s been a few people who haven`t been on tv for a long while, have taken their claims to the show. Call me cynical but...

Thanks for understanding, Kaff.

I don't know about "staged", but BB's pretty blatant in the way they really pump then with alcohol nowadays. I was watching them collect supplies from the storeroom on LF last night, and they were collecting whiskies!

In the C4 years, spirits were banned - wine and beer/cider only...

Neither should trust the other, but it can be fun to watch them trying to outdo each other.

I think in the row that Danny and Aisleyne encouraged with Marc I think we saw who outdid who, and it was a huge loss for Aisleyne.

Watching my recording of the show now.

I was indeed worried I was going to lose another hypocrisy meter there, but it's holding up so far...

I believe she did. The details of what she signed up for would be in her contract.

Danny didn`t say anything but.....

TBH, my attitude to the whole thing is "who cares?": storm in a teacup.

Never watched "Judge Rinder" and I never will, but as I understand it it's essentially a light entertainment mock-up of legal proceedings and not really intended to be taken seriously. So some zelebs go on it for a bit of publicity - isn't that the point of the show? One of the things that most people seem to have missed in the argument is that Marc admitted that he'd been on it too which is why he understood the process, so it's not like he can take the moral high ground.

Like Helen, what Marc does - his MO - is pick-pick-pick at one tiny little detail until he gets the answer he wants or his target gives up in frustration.

Something he also shares with Helen (although unlike her I'm not sure yet whether it's a genuine belief or part of his act) is a very "black and white" attitude to facts and opinion: get one tiny little detail wrong and you're a "liar" and a "fake". However real life doesn't work that...

Aisleyne was drunk during that exchange, so the sort of forensic analysis of what she was saying that Marc was doing (and the armchair lawyers over on DS will no doubt continue doing for the next 3 months   ) hardly seems fair or even meaningful. For example, at one point she clearly seemed to think Marc was talking about being paid appearance fees.

Was Aislyene talking about not understanding the full details of how the show works before she initially agreed to appear on it, or after she signed the contract? And does she even handle all her contract details herself anyway? I don't know, but more importantly neither does Marc or any of the other armchair lawyers on Twitter, etc. who've suddenly leapt in to comment on it...
