Untrue.

In a normal round of nominations her thoughts would have been to nominate Marc and Cristian or possibly Sam... 3 housemates... none of whom were available to her.

The least popular HM's with the clique, how very predictable of her.

She is a brown noser and wants to stay in favour of the clique.

What do you do when all your choices are already taken?

All her choices weren't taken, the clique members are there, prime for nominations.

On the off chance that she gets saved...wouldn't she want to keep in with the clique?  To pick off one - who then doesn't get evicted, seems a bit dicey from where I'm sitting.  All the time it's a game of Them vs Us with regards to the legends she's got a better chance of survival.

She must have heard the "get Jack out" chants on Friday, she must know he's not all that safe.

Nonsense.

Brown nosing and associated terminologies that we hear from Marc every day are pathetic and cheap excuses for not looking into proper reasoning.

Throw me some valid reasons why Harry should have nominated Joel, Jack, Chloe, Nick or Danny ahead of Simon?

Well stone me.... Fancy taking advantage in a game that's all about winning.

She's not my favourite, but I can't blame her for trying to keep herself in the house.  That's what they're all trying to do!

EASY, because Simon has talked to her and he likes her, Jack and co hardly ever spend any time with her...do you honestly think in weeks to come they wont nominate her the first chance they get?

We aren't talking about weeks to come we are talking about a specific decision made yesterday.

Simon looks somewhere beyond the horizon when he talks to her - i don't get the impression that he likes her much and he said in the DR that none of them spend any time with him (when Marc was in the bunker) - a confession in itself that he is the housemate that Harry spends the least time with.

Considering the lines didn't open until Thursday last week, I think it's obvious there'll be a twist (or several!) this week. The Timewarp HMs having a "save" option is a definite possibility. With so many up, I can also see it being vote-to-save.

All of them except Marc (and the leg-ends of course).

This is one of the things that annoys me about Marc and his "brown-nosing" mantra. He doesn't seem to understand that "getting along with other HMs - even if only on a superficial level - is a large part of what the game is actually about. Not only has he consciously not played the game (in the proper sense), but he's fought against it since day one. Helen's the same, but of course she didn't need to play the game last year because of her free pass to the final.

This is why he's so frustrated now, and why he's coming out with stuff such as that ridiculous "How do I defend my friends?" whine in the DR yesterday. The answer, of course, is to build up friendships and alliances with other HMs to protect your real friends, but instead Marc went out of his way to annoy nearly everyone in there, and he's left it way too late now to repair the damage...

Are you serioulsy telling me that Danny, Jack and Chloe all really like eachother, that it's not a if we stick together we'll make the final ...play along group?

I do hope BB voters dont follow your logic or we'll have Chloe or Danny winning.

It's cowardly because she nominated the one HM she knows wont get her any backlash with the munch bunch in there...I dont believe for one second that she likes Jack or the others...and please tell me, what has Simon done to her thats so awful?  from day one when she came in with the other newbies she distanced herself from them and went straight to crawling to the originals,  now you can say shes doing it for playing the game purposes but she is so clearly still an outsider with them.

She basically did exactly what the clique would have wanted her to do, put the weak link up...theres no integrity in that at all.

I think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. Danny, Jack and Chloe probably get along with each other better than other HMs, but no ones suggesting they're BFFs. (There are exceptions, e.g. I think Jack has a bit of a bromance for Nick, which is why he doesn't like Harry muscling in.)

Of course there's a big element of forming a "mutual protection group": it's a games show, and that's a major part of the game: always has been.

It's only part of the game, though - you also have to do enough to generate support with the voting public, which is why the radar-dodgers like Jack are likely to come a cropper towards the end. I think of it as only playing "half a game".

The problem for Marc is that he too is only playing "half a game" - the other half, where he concentrates on the voting public at the expense of fostering relationships in the house. In previous years he'd have been up for eviction every week: the only reason he's not is that BB has been protecting him. He's only now starting to realise what a hole he's dug for himself and his small band of mates, and what trouble he's going to be in when the Leg-ends finally abandon him - hence his growing frustration...

I’m still not seeing a strong enough case from you as to why Harry should have nominated differently

Harry nominated the one housemate (from those available) that we know she has had issues with previously. Re-listen to the reasons given to her by the legends as to why they nominated her and the associated footage that BB aired to endorse that particular hatchet job – or to the conversation between Simon and Harry from last Thursday – then tell me how Jack, Chloe, Nick, Danny or Joel should place higher on her nominations list when we have no evidence of her having any issues with them.

Simon was her obvious natural choice to nominate from those available. But as we know, and as she said; had core four/clique member Cristian been available for her to nominate that is where her vote would have gone.

Whether you believe that she dislikes Jack or the other is irrelevant speculation when we have evidence that she has reasons to nominate Cristian, and would have nominated Cristian had he been an available choice.

Harry would nominate from either group had those that she doesn’t get on with been available – she couldn’t have made it any clearer last night whom her choices would be. Calling her nomination decision cowardly without presenting specific evidence as to why she should have nominated other housemates ahead of Simon is unfair and unreasonable.

Cold Sweat

CS, I've stated over and over again as to why Harry's nomination was cowardly, you just don't want to see it.

Her "I wanted to nominate Marc and Cristain" speech was an obvious attempt to deflect from the real reason why she nominated Simon, because he was the weakest HM and wouldn't cause her any backlash from the others.

Just listen to her pathetic reasons for nominating him, she was struggling with the noms reason, and that's because she had no logical reasons, she was stumped.

When did any of the clique members ever defend Harry on anything?, Chloe gets support from Danny and Jack, but Harry has never seen any support from them...When Marc and the "legends" came back in and Harry stood there on her own NO ONE from the original HM's looked out for her, including Nick.

She could have come out of that situation looking a lot better than she did...but I have a feeling we'll never agree on this.

Once again you fail to provide any evidence for Harry having any reasons for nominating the remaining housemates that were available for her to nominate over Simon.

Whether her reasons for nominating Simon are pathetic or not still does not equate to her having better reasons for nominating the other available choices – does it?

I don’t even agree with Simon being a soft option for Harry to nominate. Less than a week earlier and throughout the week we saw her several times confronted with the opinion that she had picked on Simon and ostracized him from the group. Nominating him so soon afterwards (and after building bridges with him) was never going to look good – which I believe she alluded to.

Whether the clique would defend her or not is irrelevant as she strikes me as quite an independent character and not particularly bothered about making herself look good to gain favour.

Personally I think BB were unfair pushing her for better reasons – or they double-guessed that it might stir up some outrage. We’ve seen many weak reasons given for nominations including some during this current round but who gets called on it appears decidedly selection – Simon nominating Jack is the other instance that springs to mind.
