I wasn't having any of it and we recorded it so a keen Mrs Jer could watch it while I was at Wem-ber-lee or summat.
We watched Steve Coogan's Alpha Papa on catch up.
First episode is introducing the characters so the story doesn't really start until towards the end.
It's as if Neil Gaiman, Charles Dickens and Jane Austen collaborated on creating an alternative Victorian England where magic exists but no longer practised other than by a tiny minority, and is partially influenced by Amadeus (Mr Norrell is a bit like Saltieri).
