True: although I think he's got a point in that Joel is being defensive.

Mind you, I would be too in his position: with a budding political career and his school responsibilities, BB's quite a risk...

Yes, but that didn't make sense coupled with the not being interested in someone younger because she had a kid and needed someone stable..

She said she couldn't see herself being with someone less than five years older than herself. We also know she was in a relationship for 6 years - it's not necessarily adding up to gold-digger IMO

maybe not.. she seems more concerned with them fitting a specification than their personality though.   and wasn't it her who wasn't quite sure if she'd been in the relationship for '6 or 4 or 5 years' or something..   {pardon me for not really taking her seriously

Stable strikes me as a pretty good spec in the context of raising a child.

I don't disagree.. I just find it strange that she thinks he'd need to be 29 to be stable.   Surely some 20 year olds are stable and some 50 year olds are complete flakes.   On one hand she'll stand on her own two feet but on the other she has a checklist for the man she wants.    I think she just likes to waffle for the sake of it.

We need to give it a week or more though - i'm still struggling to put names to faces and vice versa.

Me too!

Although I do know who Eileen and the Pie lad are (sort of).

Oh, and Harriet - she of the dulcet tones and melodious vocal chords.

Funnily enough, Harriet's one of the ones I've been having early difficulties with: I've confused her with Chloe a few times already...
