Broadband.

The time has come to move to another provider if Virgin can't do anything for me when I ring them as I can't afford it now.

I know there are lots out there and I'm confused as to which one to go with so does anyone have any opinion on the others (those that aren't on Virgin) please. I know there are ones that are free and I'd be prepared to pay a small amount each month but not the exorbitant fee that Virgin charges.

Meant to say, I don't d/load and mainly only surf the net and mails and stuff. Also not bothered about TV. I've got freeview on my TV although that isn't HD

Avoid, avoid, avoid BT whatever you do. I hear far too many complaints about their (lack of) customer service.

I looked at Talktalk too Donks but I have something in my mind (I may be wrong) that they are related to another provider

Be careful with these cheap looking broadband deals, they often require a telephone line rental which ups the overall package.

I've taken that into consideration EC. I was taking it as read as having to have the landline anyway. (I have Virgin's)

I've been with Plusnet for a few years and they're very good. Good speeds, good customer service, and quite cheap. My brother has just switched to them and he works in IT. I'd recommend them Sprout

I have a BT line b.t.w. and only have Plusnet for Broadband not phone.
