FISH: Farewell to Childhood

Scottish singer, songwriter and ex-Marillion frontman FISH has announced a run of UK headline shows in December where he will play Marillion’s 1985 chart-topping album 'Misplaced Childhood' in full for the very last time, ahead of releasing his final-ever album next year.

The ‘Farewell To Childhood’ tour marks the 30th anniversary of Marillion’s career-defining, multi-platinum selling third album, which spawned the hit singles ‘Kayleigh’, ‘Lavender’ and ‘Heart Of Lothian’, and follows the release of the most recent solo album from 'A Feast Of Consequences'.

I think our Scottish friends will have Baz.

He was the front man of Marillion. Looks like he is hanging up his boots.

I was playing around with HTML and seeing how I can embed it into posts. So not really a topic of note, just me practicing something when it's quiet.

Night Baz.

I've heard of Fish, as my late brother was a big fan of Marillion, and I loved Kayleigh!

An opportune post

Hope you can find a venue close by Kaffy, especially as it's probably the last tour.

It's the O2 ABC in Glasgow - haven't been, but my mate says it's a horrendous venue, so I'll be giving it a miss

yep... I don't like busy, claustrophobic places though and apparently it's a bit of a rabbit warren/all standing venue.    Not my cuppa.     For the same reason I'm missing Fleetwood Mac at the Hydro and my concert buddy is going with another friend

Although.. they are paying £175 a ticket, so I didn't cry too long on the latter...

I recently bought a Simple Minds concert blu-ray which was filmed at the Hydro.
