It played on mine... i didn't watch it all, but it seemed to show them lighting the 'fuse' but cut away as it reached the case and went to news reports. I didn't look after that tbh, just in case.

On seeing the first article about this my first thought was (cynically) he'll be turning up dead soon, though I never thought it would be done in such a horrible way.
TBH, I quite seriously believe that all the hostages they have taken have been killed soon after they were taken. Not killed though until sufficient video footage is garnered.
