Harry Potter Studio Tour sounds right up your alley
Is it not, rather, straight up Diagon Alley?
Your suggestions are gratefully received!
Richmond's nice, and there's Kew Palace if that's your kind of thing.
Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew or the Deer Park...?
Avoid Hounslow and Southall
Joe, if you're blessed with good weather (bright, dry - no rain) then you'll like it down along the river. I'm sure Kaytee will have some ideas as she's a Westie and probably passes loads of places on her way into the capital.
Carport and MrsJer.
I'm a westie too. You could always take tea with the crumbling edifice that is Judith in Ealing. I'm sure a VIP could set up a dialog if that idea entertains you.
And Cos is right. Kew Gardens would be a great way to spend the time. And if its too cold you just hop into a glass house. Even better, you could walk from it to Griffin Park in no time.
If you're into birds there is always the London Wetland Centre where there are over-wintering fowl. Fowl, not foul. There are hides where you could warm up.
We are horribly deficient in other cultural attractions unless, as Cos says, you visit Richmond Palace or Syon Park in Chiswick. Don't even think about shopping in Richmond though. Even its charity shops are too pricey. I presume you're not driving down 'cos parking around Griffin Park is impossible.
Good luck though obviously I will be cheering the Bees on!
