On The One Show today they featured an article about a piece of music composed for the International Space Station.
I love it.

I've now played it 8.4 times.
I've played it but it's a bit too monotone for me EC ....I like a melody
It's interesting how he developed the ideas for the music. I kinda like musical 'drone', 'ambient' or 'industrial' forms of music.
Not everyone's cup of Darjeeling.
I'd come across info in the past that there is a sound in Space that's referred to as Music of the Spheres. I had the One Show on but was busy
at the time and just picked up some of the info. I want to listen to the music that's been composed later

If you like it I can point you to some other free compositions which I think are very nice indeed.
Josef Strauss's Music of the Spheres (his brother was Johann Strauss - The Blue Danube)

I've watched vids of Hubble's incredibly beautiful images it's captured, there are parts in this Composition that, imo, would fit perfectly in the background.

I have been listening to this chaps back catalogue for over a year now. He has released quite a lot and it's all free under creative commons license.
You can donate cash if you like it or feel generous.
He seems to have started to remove some of his older work, but there is still plenty to listen to.
He goes by the name Ambienteer and is hosted on Bandcamp.

Thanks for the link EC, his style is unusual but the great thing about music is how many interpretations there are of it. Just a personal opinion but for me I felt there are 3/4 tracks that remind me of music used for relaxation by those who listen to it at night to help them sleep. I wish him well with his musical endeavours

Indeed, ambient music is often used as it can be very relaxing and not at all taxing on the senses. I use it mainly at work when I write reports or I'm performing a repetitive task.

Music can affect/help us in different ways, it can be energising, emotional, relaxing and sometimes grating lol. This is a coincidence, earlier today on my Newsfeed on FB I saw this link, thought you might be curious to see it as it relates to your thread
