I know he doesn't own it all now, but I love the Virgin brand  (although I had a bad experience when I moved house)    His trains, I loved.. was gutted when the lost the cross country franchise (I commuted to Manchester weekly at the time - First Transpennine are abysmal)   Virgin know about customer service.

I was pleased he's got breathing space for our end, normally the service is bang on Kaffs. I have never had a hold up going into Glasgow...Edinburgh on the other hand with Transpennine  is a nightmare, I've yet to catch one on time

The odd delay wasn't the thing that annoyed me most.. it was the crappy trains, air con on full in the middle of winter and it's set at the depot before the train leaves and can't be adjusted according to the train manager?    Food was crap - even in F.C.  - toilets often out of order and no cleaners on board.     I used to really enjoy my journeys on Virgin's trains.

I try and avoid Transpennine at all costs Kaffs..I travel Virgin most times, but where I live it's the obvious and best choice  I would rather drive than travel to Edinburgh again with them, bloody awful

Best journey was when they announced they'd be stopping at Carlisle for 10 minutes because ALL of the toilets on the train were out of order.    You went at Carlisle, or you waited until Manchester....

He's a chancer and a bullshitter.  Always has been and always will be.  Space Tourism should be internationally illegal.  It has no social, scientific nor technological value

I think I've mentioned how this will put black carbon into the upper atmosphere leading to climate change.  According to those who know, put carbon that high in the atmosphere and it stays up in there for far, far longer than the carbon deposited by commercial aircraft much lower in the atmosphere.

Of course, 'wealth creator' Branson, won't be footing the bill for any failed harvests etc, just collecting the profits from sating the enormous egos of the 1% of the 1% super wealthy elite.
