Not myself but I know some who do and love taking them away on holiday loaded with reading, which cuts down on their baggage allowance not carrying all that paper 

Despite my job in technology, I still prefer the paper versions.

took me a hell of a long time to get used to reading kindle

i used to read anything and everything when i was younger

cos i didnt go to school

now i read sh!t loads again

alright its not shakespear

but it keeps me quiet

If you have a kindle device you can borrow from the Amazon library free - some good stuff there. I just have kindle on my pc, got used to reading it now and enjoying it.

I prefer books as I love the feel, smell and touch of them but I do love my kindle as it holds lots of stuff and it's light weight so I can carry it around easily 

I've downloaded loads of free books and when read deleted them.  I also buy lots of furrin books that are only available in the kindle format and I love that they are there instantly 

did I tell you I love my kindle - the only thing I can't do is bend over the corners of the page

I love my kindle, I read loads (started going on my own to the library when I was only 8years old!)  I download all the free murder/mystery books (John Locke is a new fave)

I adore my Kindle fire and love to read  crime genre-you can get some good freebies and loads between 59p and £1.50

I have a Kindle Fire and as EC said, you can't beat it for loading up lots of books to read on holiday. For someone like me, who will read a particularly good book more than once, it means you can store the book on the kindle and it doesn't take up any room in the house. I also have a Kindle app on my Ipad and the books I download from Amazon are loaded onto both tablets. I can swap between tablets and the book will automatically go to the last page I read.

I love British crime thrillers, with a bit of contemporary fiction thrown in to lighten the mood now and then. 

Nothing beats a real book in your hands, imo, but Kindle's are fabulous too.

 Mr Yogi frequents charity shops on his quest for old cookery books, and I have often picked up bargains of the fiction variety.

I go through phases of reading depending on what else is going on in my life... I've not unpacked my kindle since I moved four weeks ago for example!    I love it though - as Yogi says, I love that if it's a book I'm really enjoying, I can read a chapter on the PC at work while I'm having my lunch.  I also love it for reading in bed - you don't have that uncomfortable trying to keep it open when you're lying on your side.
