Last night was the first time I've seen Dr Who for ages ... I still haven't seen Amy Pond die (hope no one is as behind as I am and that hasn't been a spoiler!)

I quite enjoyedit, although I thought Gemma Louise Coleman was the star, not Peter Capaldi.

I didn't actually like him at all, he's not exactly David Tennant is he!?

Just caught it on catch-up.

I loved how they used the 'face-hugger' idea from Alien, then came straight out and said "Hey, we used the face-hugger idea from Alien!".

I liked the dreams within dreams idea as you never quite know if the character is awake, plus they nicely worked in a kick-starter for the next series.

The make or break series.

I have just watched it. Mixed feelings really. I loved loved LOVED Matt's Christmas episodes (apart from the one he regenerated in....just on principle) mostly cos they were ridiculously Christmassy. This one (despite featuring Santa) was less so.

I'm still missing the lack of a sense of wonder, but it was entertaining, and I adored Santa! Funny and spooky at the same time.

Very good point.... now I'm scared....

At work I got three colleagues to open the same book at the same page and read the first word. All but one got the same word.
