Am I alone in thinking the outrage of EE characters is a bit unrealistic and totally out of step with the real world?

In the context of the storyline - no, not really. Bianca nearly had her children taken into care because she was wrongly thought to have given the brownies to Tiffany: I can't imagine anyone would take that well... Also, quite a few of the characters have criminal records, so they could be in big trouble if inadvertantly dragged into it, and places like the pub could get closed down if dealing was suspected. In short: Tina put a lot of people at risk...

I can understand that character's reaction, but all the Carters were acting like it was crack cocaine.
