In BB15 the average age of the housemates is:

Male - 24.7

Female - 28.8

Just putting it out there...

Vietnam age disputed .

Myth: The average age of an infantryman fighting in Vietnam was 19.
Assuming KIAs accurately represented age groups serving in Vietnam, the average age of an infantryman (MOS 11B) serving in Vietnam to be 19 years old is a myth, it is actually 22. None of the enlisted grades have an average age of less than 20. [CACF] The average man who fought in World War II was 26 years of age. [Westmoreland]

Interesting comparison, particularly considering we've seen the usual claims this year of female HMs pretending to be younger than they really are...

Even if you take Pauline out of the equation, the "girls" are notably older - on average - than the boys. Six of the girls this year are over 25, whereas only 3 of the boys are...

I noticed it suggested that Tamara looked older but not really seen the suggestion that any had lied. I do wonder if Tamara was cast as the female "romantic" lead and if the week one trials and tribulations of Danielle ruined an obvious storyline.

I've seen various suggestions that Tamara, Danielle and Helen all looked older than they claimed. I do find it interesting that when there are questions about a HM's age, the tendency is to assume the girls are older than they really are, whereas the boys will be thought to be younger: e.g. Winston, who many assumed was in his early 20s, and Sam last year who many assumed was a teenager. The exception is Marlon, with that bizarre suggestion that he was in his 30s...

I agree with you about Tamara: both she and Winston have admitted that the other was their "type", and said as much before entering the house. I'm sure BB had high hopes for them being the house couple this year...
