Is that the game where they all wear white and you cant tell one team from the other?

Nope. That's the game they all wear white and you can tell one team from the other.

Goetz can now dine off that for the rest of his life.

It's the game where you pray for a heatwave, a deck chair and a very loooong sleep.

All brought on by copious amounts of Pimms and you have it in a nutshell.

England has a very good young team, but somehow they get lost somewhere as they get older.

I felt that England had a better attitude this time out, I did not get the impression we thought we would win it. But you have to look at the two countries, where football in Germany appears to be more with the people and here it's all about the money.

To be honest I'm pleased to see the back of Hanson, he is such a mood hoover and is a constant misery and it detracts from any point he has to make. I doubt we will have too much longer with Lawro either, now just need to ease out Shearer and Rio and get some fresh faces in.

Absolutely!

I felt that but it wasn't all that much of an improvement.  If I recall correctly, a season ticket at Bayern Munich costs less than a season ticket for Colchester.

We need to get our young players out playing in other top leagues in Europe.

Unfortunately our players seem to be so overpriced that only English clubs are stupid enough to pay the fees. Luke Shaw for ÂĢ30m is taking the piss.
Ross Barkley would benefit a lot from going to play for a club like Borussia Dortmund or Sevilla, not one of the big heavy weights, but a top European club where he'd get a football education. Now because everton probably value him at about ÂĢ30m+ which is at least twice what he's worth, he'll end up warming Man City or Man United's bench for a few years before ending up either back at everton or somewhere like Aston Villa.
