Though ITV have yet to confirm an exact X Factor UK 2014 start date, fans can expect the show to return to our screens sometime around late August.
With almost all of the previous 10 series having premiered on either the third or fourth Saturday of that month, the most likely return dates are currently Saturday, 23 August or Saturday, 30 August, 2014. We can expect ITV to officially announce the new series 11 air date and time a couple of weeks before the first round auditions begin broadcasting.
The judges auditions (not to be confused with the earlier open auditions) for series 11 began on Monday the 16th of June, 2014 at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester. Other cites visited this summer included London, Newcastle and Edinburgh.
