Matthew has been evicted: See his top five moments

He spent a night in a box and formed one of the most endearing bromances we've ever seen on the show but Matthew has been shown the door. Take a look at what made him such a great housemate.

1. Man in a box

Matthew had barely even got through the front door of the House before he was involved in a task, as Power Housemate Pauline got to reward one housemate and punish another. She chose to punish Matthew based on his VT, and he had to spend the first night suspended in a glass box above the garden.

2. BFFs

One of the most unexpected but intense friendships in the House was Matthew and Mark's. Despite seeming like polar opposites, the two of them were practically inseparable, and it was kind of adorable.

3. He's got the Power

power couple

After housemates nominated Toya as the third Power Housemate, she picked Matthew to join her as part of the Power Couple. Together, they schemed, plotted - and vetoed other people's nominations. Reckon Matthew enjoyed having the power? We think so...

4. Truth or dare flare-up

Most of the housemates clashed with Helen at one point or another, but Matthew's fight with her was particularly spectacular. During a game of Truth or Dare, Winston asked a risque question, Matthew reacted with disdain, and all Helen broke loose.

5. You've got red on you

Matthew turned 24 while he was in the House. He got to celebrate on the first day of the Assassins Task as Big Brother threw a masquerade ball for the living housemates, but didn't get to enjoy being 24 for long - he was 'assassinated' by Jale over a nice brunch the next morning.
