Because it was technically 2 separate "shots" on goal.
1. Benzema shoots, it hits the post and rolls across the line. (1st goal line decision to be made)
2. The goalkeeper palming it in with his hands. (2nd goal line decision to be made)
It's 2 separate decisions to determine who scored the goal. If benzema's initial shot had crossed the line then the keepers actions become irrelevant.
