It might not be conscious. BotP talked about "coping mechanisms": when you encounter situations in your life, you naturally find that some forms of response work better than others, and you're therefore more likely to adopt these - often without thinking about it. This is possibly what's happening with Chris, although I'm still undecided about him at the moment.

In the case of Danielle, it looks much more deliberate. When you consider her very provocative photo shoots and what we know publicly about her "relationship" with Dexter, she really doesn't appear to be the fragile, innocent creature prone to crying that she is in the house. Even at this early stage. it's starting to look suspiciously like BB12 Alex all over again...

You're right about the money-sharing, but she didn't win the series: she finished 3rd behind Aaron and Jay.

Alex played the "quiet, innocent, girl-next-door" in the house. Her persona was debunked by the unveiling of her involvement in some dodgy online forums and videos, but a lot of viewers and HMs still fell for it. The most notable was Aaron, who was so confident of winning (correctly, as it turned out), that he seriously considered walking to let her win instead.

When Aaron left the house, he was warned by the producers about Alex - which is ironic, seeing as they'd previously tried to warn Faye off of him.

Despite all the demonising by BB of Aaron as the "arch-manipulator" who was "just using Faye", Aaron and Faye are - I believe - still living happily together, while Alex (the real manipuator of BB12, and possibly the most successful of any series) escaped largely unnoticed with £30,000...

Right, just checked. That ^^^^ Alex was actually 2011, with Jay (faeces in the freezer) in second place.

Ah, she is one of those types. I've seen programmes about how some women do this and end up quite wealthy from 'gifts' given by admirers - or idiots as I like to call them
