Having worked with Downs Syndrome children they too have unconditional love, they're very affectionate, not sure why this little one is hesitant at times but I'm sure the dog will be a teacher to him

I've not heard of that Organisation Jen but have known for a long time about Beagles being used for testing, hard to imagine how some human beings can be a part of that.
Coincidentally a friend sent me this link a few days ago of Beagles being set free and seeing grass for the first time. This happened in the US, hopefully it will happen here one day, the Beagles are now in foster homes. Hope the link works, not sure if FB links work here, never tried it before lol.
Edit, I can't see the vid so maybe it doesn't work here. But it's encouraging to know some Beagles can be set free. One day hopefully they'll all be.

I agree Rog, it's so sad that animals are used in that way and then 'disposed of'
