Apologies if I took it the wrong way Pirate, even though I understood it's a name that can be played with. I read earlier that a Russian MP talked about Europeans being men, women and "it" I think that's pretty ignorant and insulting.

I don't care that he cross dresses, live and let live, but lets face it, in this day and age if your "different" and you go onto these talent/reality TV shows you have a magnificent chance of winning.

The madness is all the silly do gooding people who simply want those who are different to win because that contestant is different and not judging them the same as everyone else.

All I heard on sat night was lots of "Awwww, I hope Conchita wins" 

I love the interviewers accent, ooooh gorgeous. But the beard in that looks sprayed on.

Also, I think her song sounds like it's been plucked from a musical.
