Maaaan! this fred has proper made me howl and I'm sitting in one of the training rooms on my own having my dinner!!

To get back to the OP, No, I don't normaly have a Sunday dinner as there's only me and I CBA    On the odd occasion I'm invited out with my Auntie and Uncle, it has to be pork with the trimmings every time Mmmmmm.

I also like lamb, but normally have a chop with new potatos and mushy peas, and that's through the week for my tea.

I've also never cooked lamb and I'm not sure if I've ever ate it.  I wouldn't buy it to cook it coz it's just a baybee!!  But if someone had made it for me then I'd give it a go

I don't make Sunday roasts very often at all (terrible Mother, I am!!) mostly because my OH and youngest don't eat potatoes or veg so it's just handier (if I want a roast on Sundays) to order from the place in town that does them for take away/delivery.

I am making roast stuff chicken fillet today though because I had bought it to make for Sunday but I was suffering from terrible lazyitis yesterday and couldn't do it.  The partner and youngest can have something else

Gunaydin, goatie here, without the beard! PMSL at this thread. As it happened we went to a newly opened Turkish fine dining restaurant on Sunday eve, amazing food, impeccable service and views to die for. Six courses and the bill, without  drinks and wine;-) came to ÂĢ20 per head! V interesting presentation too, I'd post a few pics but don't think I can on my phone: assiette of desserts for e.g. was on a glass plate suspended over a slate one with various pebbles, shells etc.inbetween and the poached pear came in a candy floss 'cloud' which they 'melted' at the table by pouring the poaching liquor over it from a mini watering can!

I am thank you Soozy, been a bit of a hectic and v sociable few days so I'm having a quiet one whilst my sis is at work today: done a bit of housework and gardening this morning and I'm just about to get round the pool and read. Back on topic: next Sunday a group of us are going for lunch in a fab little place up in the mountains: English chef who is married to a Turk is making us roast lamb and chicken, Eve's pudding and lemon meringue pie.
