Loved Deana - always got a rough deal but rose above the haters with elegance

I thought Deana was great too. However much as it pains me to say it, I think she was ill-advised to sue for libel. Even the judge agreed that Connor's attacks were "vile abuse", but it's difficult to see how they could be construed as defamatory...

That's awful.

Still... the article says Deana is a rising star in India, so hopefully her career continues to go well. She'll end up better than Conor who has nothing going for him, whatsoever. 

I agree.  Perhaps threatening and intimidating behaviour etc might have been a better angle?

Yeah... how come people get arrested for abusing someone on twitter, and Conor got away with that?

I think she was ill advised and looks like she still has an axe to grind rather than rising above the idiot.

I always admired and respected the fact that she rose above it and treated him with the contempt he deserved. It's done, it's dusted - not quite sure why she felt the need to sue.

I agree that she was on a loser in suing the thug, but it's just so annoying thinking that he got one over on her.

Well Conor won this one  but with his thuggish ways its probably not the last time he'll see a court.

Hope he kept the 50k ... he'll be needing it for bail one day 

I think she was poorly advised in pursuing this through the courts as it was said about her- not to her. It was hardly defamatory either- just vile, misogynistic and violent crap!

Conor is  a low life and a thug,shame bb ever had him on the  show.His "followers" on facebook were racist sexist and vile before they put up privacy pages.I hope he fails in all he does.
