Wasn't that in a comedy drama with Jo Joyner of EastEnders fame?

Yes it was.

I did not watch it, but remember the adverts.

I liked that comedy, I thought it was good.  I thought Jo Joyner had a good comedic timing.  I liked her in EE and hope she'll crop up in something soon.

I liked that comedy.  It had a 'sistas are doing it for themselves' vibe, which can be annoying, but all the same I liked it.  I thought Jo Joyner had good comedic timing.  I liked her in EE and hope she'll crop up in something soon.

I quite enjoyed the Channel 4 comedy No Angels which she was in.

A joint venture (with a work colleague) selling loo rolls on ebay. Loo rolls with the name of specific football clubs printed through them.

Everything was going well – we were registering a company name and had applied for a patent (as I recall) when out of the blue ebay shut down my account because Man Utd complained that we had infringed upon their intellectual property rights.

Phone up half cut at 2am or whole cut but running out of beer but still wanting to be more pissed.  Ask for a delivery of alcohol, name your quantity and it will be delivered within 30 minutes.  The beauty of the system is that by agreeing to use the service, the customer agrees that the phone call will be charged for the value of the drink+ mark up, plus delivery charges.

 Thats a good one actually...

Shame  You could see those selling to fans [and rival fans in certain cases].

So, anyone think this is a winner?  To-your-door alcohol.  The beauty of the system the deliverer doesn't need to collect any money from a potentially belligerent drunk, the deliverer just delivers the drink.  It's inclusive in the phone bill or internet agreement.

Would you not need a licence to sell alcohol?

Well of course.  That's a given
