My Uncle has been raving about it on FB, he has three German Shepherds and breeds them, beautiful award winning dogs... I know never to call them Alsatians to him!

We have a friend who keeps them too & have also been chastised many times about calling them Alsatians.

Re Crufts, we only watch it to see which celebrities the dogs remind us of. Guess which breed was chosen as Emma Bunton in her Baby Spice days?

Sweet. I love Crufts and watch every year. This year I am extra interested as I have very good family friend who is showing her Bracco Italiano.He is a lovable gallumping thing with chamois leather ears! The poor girl though is just recovering from pneumonia so I hope all goes well.

Loved the toy dogs tonight. Complete squeee-fest.  

Crufts always struck me as something of a Canine Freak Show.  Hopefully things have  improved now and genetically modified dogs are a thing of the past
