incompatent?

I'm even more incompetent!   eg I got a Sony Xperia phone for Christmas - took me three weeks to get the bliddy back off to put the Sim card in!

Replacing screens are a doddle. Don't worry - just watch the Youtube videos...see how easy it is ?

Well i did put up some Ikea shelving and felt quite the adult 

All I'd ask is if it's financially viable to repair?

Sat-navs are cheap these days.

I only ask as I have a Samsung smart phone with no insurance and a cracked screen.

Repair cost is £190.00!

For that money I could buy a new phone (albeit not quite as fancy) to see me out until I get my upgrade.

At present I have put a screen protector over the crack(s) and am living with it.

 No small feat 

Be honest, did you have any spare parts following construction

That's not bad actually, sometimes I have enough spare parts to build another one 

I'm with you, I really don't like satnavs. It drives me to the point of insanity when a member of our staff will complain about having to go somewhere because 'they haven't got their satnav with them'.  What did they do before them?

But that's my point, they didn't.  I never use them and drive all over the country.  I'm not saying it's wrong to use them, but if you didn't have one you would find your way to wherever it was by using a road atlas.

Believe it or not .. i love maps despite the Sat Nav perversion

Garmin have offered me a new unit for £58.80 but want the old one back.

IF this has new map info then its a good deal me thinks

I messaged Garmin and thats what they offered me

I think its just the unit - not the charger etc but i have the other gubbins already.
