I'm pretty sure it's quite popular there Joe, I'm not a tea drinker though so like Cagney I've not tried it

You can get Barry's tea through Amazon. I've never tried it but the reviews are good.

I used to buy Ringtons Extra Fresh - they used to be lovely

BUT . . . recently they've lost their zing, a malty kinda freshness.

I messaged them and was ignored - the swines!!

And tried Whittards Russian Caravan tea and Assam but was unimpressed.

SO . . . can you advise on a tea that has a deep malty taste but one that doesn't become overly strong?

I've tried that Yip Yop Koolong (or something) twas like smerkin' an ashtray !!!

Have you tried Nambarrie, or Red Bush? But then again I like Assam.

I don't drink it, I'm more of a Lyons tea person..but it is very popular here..

 Lyons is lovely. Mrs Doyle uses it and there's no better endorsement.

I have no idea about Barry's tea, I can recommend Punjana  which is now re named Thompsons tea, several strength options, it's lovely stuff.

Can't remember which episode, but Mrs Doyle's in the supermarket struggling to get this MASSIVE box of Lyons Tea off a shelf  Its bigger than her!

Our Nana used to drink Punjana - haven't tried it for years!
