I don't have a steamer or an oven.
I have a frying pan, a saucepan, two hobs and a microwave.
What's the simplest, easiest and best way to cook up some broccoli?

You can steam it in the microwave 
put the pieces in a microwaveable container, bit of water at the bottom and microwave for 2-4 mins depending on how much you have and how crunchy you like it

Put it in a microwavable dish with a couple of spoonfuls of water. Cover with pierced clingfilm, if you haven't got any, cover with a plate but leave room for steam to escape.
Cook for 2 mins. If not cooked enough do it for another minute. I like my veg verging on crunchy, so you might need to do it for longer.

Anywho, the microwaving of the broccoli worked a treat. Watch out Jamie Oliver!
Rawky just do it in the pan - put some butter or oil in if its not nonstick. I think boiling or microwaving veg takes the taste out of them.
