Really, erin?  I think this has been the most credible series yet - at least the winner didn't get there by the pity vote.      I think most of the contestants could actually sing.

Oh... and Ricky has lovely eyes....

Really!

I thought the calibre of singers was no different from club singers up and down the country. As for Ricky I wouldn't give him a second glance ,he reminds me of Peter Crouch.

As for the pity vote, Jermaine sure campaigned for that and then we got the Cheryl Cole stunt.

The voice this year had no buzz about it...nothing. I can honestly say I have not had a single conversation about the voice. There was little to no interest in it .

It was the final of the voice and this forum had 6 members active on the thread generating 324 posts.(SR made comment but only at the end of the show) that sort of says it all imo.

Active members were

EC Amethyst  Kaffs Yogi Supes Jackson B (arrived part way through) then SR at the end of the show .

will.i.am's finalist Jermain Jackson won the series, The Voice scored itslowest finals rating in the show’s history.

2012 Overnight ratings  7.14 (34.2%)

2013 Overnight ratings 7.24 (34.8%)

2014 0vernight ratings 6.6 ( 30.7%)

And look who Will  celebrated the win with !!

No rivalry here: Lauren and Simon were joined by will.i.am, who was crowned the winning mentor of The Voice earlier in the evening

And will.i.am certainly had a lot to celebrate, after his act Jermain  Jackman was crowned the winner of The Voice earlier in the evening.

So it's no wonder the Black Eyed Peas star, who had duetted with Jermain  singing Pure Imagination during the live final, looked in good spirits  as he arrived to the venue.

Wearing a typically eccentric outfit of baggy black shorts, high socks and a  blue and black jacket, will flashed photographers the peace sign as he  headed inside to spend the evening with Lauren and Simon.

Sally Barker is currently leading way of The Voice UK acts according to this afternoon’s official chart update.

Despite not actually winning the show, Sally is currently on course to score the highest charting single of this year’s series and the only one to enter the Official Top 40.

According to Charts Update, Sally is at Number 35 in the midweek sales today with Dear Darlin’ after her performance of the Olly Murs track at the weekend.

The show’s actual winner Jermain Jackman is already outside of the Top 40 today and looks on course to be the show’s least successful winner to date, at least based on initial chart performance.

As it stands Jermain is looking unlikely to beat the ‘success’ of the show’s first two winners and their tracks.

Leanne Mitchell released Run To You in 2012 after her win but charted at only 45, while last year’s champ Andrea Begley was at Number 30 with her cover of My Immortal.

Meanwhile, Christina Marie has two entries just outside the Top 40 with her covers of The Power Of Love and Fix You.

And her mentor Ricky Wilson is enjoying a lot of success off the back of the series: The latest Kaiser Chiefs album is on course for a second week at Number One while single Coming Home is in the Top 30.

The official BBC Voice UK account on Twitter confirmed the news: “Kylie has brought her own very special magic to @BBCTheVoiceUK and we have absolutely loved having her on the show. ”
