brilliant will miss It
Just manage to finish the last instalment. Fantastic series, but I'm cross with Martin and I want to know who killed Gertrude.
Thanks Yogi

Me too. I'm sad that it has ended.
I did read somewhere that a third series is in the pipeline. I don't know if that's definite.
Because it clashed with BB, i stopped watching so have the last 5 episodes to catch up with on iplayer.
Can someone please tell me, is it worth watching the rest please? Apparently the plot gets pretty silly, so don't know if I'll bother...

From Wiki:
"The writer of the show, Hans Rosenfeldt, revealed in January 2014 that he is writing series three, [...]
Filming will start in September 2014 with an expected air date in Scandinavia starting in September 2015."
I've edited out a spoiler in that quote - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T...series)#Series_three for the full details!

b.t.w. I've deliberately avoided looking at the other posts here in case of spoilers...

I enjoyed it. Recording's a good idea though, as I found the keeping tabs on all the characters and plot threads at the end took a fair bit of concentration...

One thing I'm not sure about; do they speak Swedish or Danish?
One thing I'm not sure about; do they speak Swedish or Danish?
I remember the first episode in series one, where Saga and the other Swedish police officers asked Martin to slow down his speech as he was speaking in Danish. I presume the majority of the dialogue is in Swedish and the parts where Martin is in Copenhagen will be in Danish. I've read that the languages are very similar and most Danes and Swedes can understand each other, although they will often chat to each other in English, which they both speak well.
Edit: Having listened to Madame Arcati's link, the Swedish actors speak Swedish and the Danish actors speak Danish.
This link to the 'Front Row' interview may provide some answers regarding another series etc. It starts about 1 minute in

Thanks, Madame. I'll have a look at the link after Coach Trip.
