I loved the Everly Brothers, I have one of their albums.

Apparently they were No. 1 in the charts when I was Born.

A friend in the US emailed me last night with news...it's taken a while to reach the uk I've noticed. The Everly's music hold special memories for me and I was upset to hear the News. They influenced so many of those that have had long held respect in the business, I wonder if they knew. I saw them in Concert and was lucky to meet Phil Everly, a very gentle gentleman. I've added this in the Buddies but as there is a thread I shall add this here too.  I was a member of their fan club when I was 14 and Phil was my favourite.  How lucky you were to meet him YR, I am glad you found him so gentle, that was always the impression that I got and it's nice to have it confirmed

TBH I don't really know too much about the Everly Brothers ...........I do remember playing this endlessly on the record player though (think it was my mums)
