Not a good start to the new year, my daughter has just came in and sat on my knee, A & E tomorrow for me

I've had the ideal night after a week of making sure all the family have been looked after.  I love NYE - it's mine and the OH's night; we just like being together   I'm a lucky gal. 

So glad I recorded Jools. Charlie Wilson was, well there's no other word for it OUTSTANDING!! Bonus points to me for embarrassing my family by doing the electric slide around the living room 

Oh and the last bit of those fireworks!  from the view at 42 floors up WOW

OMG! I actually typed "Hope you enjoy your red plastic wiggly fish" cos it was the crappiest cracker present I could think of.  

But I then decided to ACTUALLY open a cracker and edit it to the real gift. So yeah, you still got a mini sewing kit... but at least I know if you ever join me for Christmas, I can spend even less on a box of crackers than I did this year  

And now everyone knows I opened a cracker all on my own on NYE.

I might love the fish..  but its the only cheap cracker gift I like!

In recent years I have paid top dollar..   comforted by the thought that I should at least get a v handy mini screwdriver set out of it.    We also stick fivers in..  and pin a scratchcard to the outside.
