That's interesting - grating the top layer of pastry on.
The stollen looks good, but I'm not fond of marzipan (marchpane).
Don't really like the look of that cake.

quick post before I go into the MM thread. When she used those cocktail sticks I was 
that gingerbread house is aimed at young children, I would have thought the sharp ends of those tiny sticks would be very dangerous EC.

quick post before I go into the MM thread. When she used those cocktail sticks I was that gingerbread house is aimed at young children, I would have thought the sharp ends of those tiny sticks would be very dangerous EC.
That pie wil be about 750 calories per slice !

Mums and Dads should be on alert, I was brought up with cheese and pineapple on sticks, not me or any of my friends ever poked our eyes out with them, we were warned of the dangers
