You are missing out on a mine of knowledge and a few laughs thrown in for good measure.

Is it sad of me to say I prefer being with you all on here?   besides I can't forum and watch TV at the same time

I can but if it's really interesting on TV I tend to go AFK for a while.

QI (Quite Interesting) is a British comedy panel game television quiz show created and co-produced by John Lloyd, hosted by Stephen Fry, and featuring permanent panellist Alan Davies. Most of the questions are extremely obscure, making it unlikely that the correct answer will be given. To compensate, points are awarded not only for right answers, but also for interesting ones, regardless of whether they are right or even relate to the original question. Conversely, points are deducted from a panellist who gives "answers which are not only wrong, but pathetically obvious," typically answers that are generally believed to be true but in fact are misconceptions. Points are also often deducted if an obvious joke answer is given.

Soozy, there are still past episodes on iPlayer. If I were you I would dip into one or two and see what you think. There is also an extended vernon called QIXL which as you would imagine has more content.

Edit:  and I read your post as a question Soozy, just realised you watched it

QI is the only programme on TV that actually makes me laugh out loud every time. . tho I record and watch the XL programme as there is much more of it and it is even funnier. . don't know why they just don't show a longer programme to start with.. it's the best show on the tellybox.. full of laughs and always full of extremely intelligent but not up themselves panellists too. . cracking show.. educates and entertains all in one go .

Some weeks they manage a running theme of humour, but it was never going to go far with Victoria Wood, Jason Manford and whoever. Wrong programme for them. I did enjoy HIGNFY and the Apollo mind. Ciabatta are something you only try once.

I agree possibly the wrong panel this week. Manford in my opinion is one of the worst comedians to hit our screens in years along with Macintyre.

Victoria Wood did seems somewhat out of her depth.
