I get ads ..but I'm not VIP ....but I just got the Robot....and now it's gone slow

In Baz's post the word 'robot' is underlined.

As far as I can see, the ads are by bettersurf.  Guess I'd better have a look in my tools and settings

I would run a virus and malware/spyware scan Cosi if the adds are connected to one product/site and i definitely wouldn't click on any of them

In this persona I'm on Chrome so I don't get any ads but I do on Firefox if that helps

Can I just say Cosi. If you download Adblock plus which is free, you won't see adds on any other sites too, including facebook. You get a little  sign in your address box^^^^^^ which is a round red thing with ADP in white in the middle of it. I highly recommend  it to all peeps. 

Unless, of course, you happen to like adverts

Crisis over, thank gawd!  I'd must have inadvertently clicked on something somewhere and the bugga decided to take up residence   A quick click on uninstall in the control panel and by following a few hints on Chrome itself......and voila, sorted.

It was called Bannersurf (for those who might want to know)

It is a very good ad blocking site. 

Ha!  The funny thing is I've got an adblocker but obviously I'd done something to over-ride it   

I'll make a note of your recommendation Sezit, just in case I do something stoopid again at some point  

Based on the time you guys were reporting Will and robots, I'd say you experienced another hotfix. 

We're still tinkering to improve performance.
