you didn't listen then?   No, she didn't.    Amy put some on her figure and she politely said 'thanks, but it's not my colour' and didn't use it.

Whether it did any harm or not - they're all supposed to be going through the same hardships together, as a team.   You can't look out for number one and still expect to part of the team.  The sad thing is she still doesn't understand why nobody likes her (apart from Joey who 1) thinks with his bits and 2) has obviously now been told to play the 'romance' angle for the rags.      I'd be careful if I was him...  he's muscling in on Daddy's protector role and I predict Daddy won't be a happy chappie...

It does beg the question - if it had been her colour would she have used it?

As it was her intention to do so until she saw the shade, no?

No it doesn't.   She clearly said she wouldn't use it because as an olympian she doesn't believe in cheating.  The colour comment was an excuse so she didn't have to compromise her principles and at the same time not cause a scene with the little princess.    She probably regrets being so tactful now.

Why be tactful - then complain?

Amy told them on three separate occasions she'd handed everything in.   Lied to their faces as was proved on last night's show.    She shrugged, she giggled, and her Dad laughed cuddled her in a conspiratorial way...

But Rebecca would have used it if it was her colour and didn't tell the others straight away, just when it served her purposes.

People are taking this smuggling stuff into camp far too seriously, I doubt if David did the same thing you lot would have cared, you would have laughed with his naughtiness.

You only need a very tiny blob of concealer ...it really doesn't come in a huge range of colours.

Amy aRebecca really aren't that different in colouring - it's not like foundation it wouldn't show up at all especially under all the muck and grime of the jungle.

She was politely and diplomatically declining. I don't suppose she wanted to look like a goody two shoes or come across as confrontational.

As far as concealer goes - colour really isn't important.

Well, in some quarters Rebecca did come off looking bad as she did lose support.

I can take your point that she was being polite to Amy in declining to use any of Amy's makeup over colour, but then why take so long to say anything to the others about it and why do it behind Amy's back, it still doesn't look good IMO.

She didn't mention it immediately because (as far as I remember) contraband hadn't become an issue at that point. When it first became an issue Amy, when pushed admitted to chewing gum. I believe it was after this when it was bought up again Rebecca the revealed about the concealer.

I think the point is that the selfish little madam wanted to absolve herself by first saying 'others used it' and then went on to say'well Rebecca used it'.

the fact is .....no one else used it - it was her contraband (amongst lots of other stuff) trying to drag people into the mix is unfair and immature. Rebecca was quite right to be a bit indignant about it IMO.
