The columnist calls the TV cook, who gave a two-day testimony in the fraud trial of two former aides, 'a self-confessed drug-taker, spendthrift, and a self-obsessed flirt determined to show other women they were imperfect.'
Hopkins also uses her column to defend Lawson's ex-husband Charles Saatchi, who she believes to be having 'a testing time of it.'

Don't watch "The Apprentice" or any of the other shows she's appeared on, so I'm glad to say I've largely managed to avoid her. I do get the impression though that she's a classic "Glenda Slagg" character (all the FMs who read Private Eye will know what I mean...
