The character Stacey Slater will be back on the square, I take it things didn't go well in the new roles she wanted to do seems a bit odd seeing as her mum has just left

It's brainwashin'
Hmmm. I wonder how they're going to work the story for that, and how long Stacey's going to hang around for.
After all: wouldn't the police be after her as soon as she shows her face in the country?
I was thinking about this but I think they blamed Archies murder on Bradley

Janine revealed publicly that Stacey killed Archie, and then later stabbed herself and framed Stacey for the "assault". It was for the latter as much as anything that Stacey had to go on the run.
At the moment it's difficult to see how Stacey can return publicly to the Square without quickly ending up in jail, but perhaps it may have something to do with the resolution to the current Janine story...
This is one of the few reasons that would make me watch EE again. I think Lacey is gorgeous. I really don't care what the story lines are so long as she has lots and lots of screen time.
I liked Stacy Slater.. (Lacey Turner)..
but not enough to start watching EE again! Just like giving up smoking, I also quit EE..
Hollyoaks in my only remaining vice now.
But... on a similar note.. Staceys brother.. the sexy ginger Sean SLater rocked up on True Blood this season.. I thought all my christmas's had come at once!
He got his kit off and everything!
(He was also in Pacific Rim, which I watched the other night.. as films go.. it was more than a bit crap!)
*purrrrrsssss and rubs self on the ginge one*
I liked her character until they started writing her as Kat Slater mk.2. She's a fairly good actress if given decent scripts worthy of her abilities. But then, it's EE, so it's a lottery as to what implausible rubbish she will have to try and make convincing.
it's not returning characters what EE needs its decent scripts
Not much hope there. Janine (with her back history) makes a statement and in the EastEnders parallel universe of 'justice', naturally, the police and courts simply accept her word as the verbatim truth and chuck Alice in Jail.
Like the Lola baby story line, where an ex-crack addict, convicted armed bank robber and ex-alcoholic is deemed a preferable parent to the actual mother who has only been involved in minor fisticuffs.
Lacey is one actress I don't mind returning as she was one of the better ones. Like someone said it's a shame that Jean has left as I saw her as really good actress...and I still wish Michael was there!

Yup

I would like to see Pacific Rim. I expect it to be really crap but still want to see it.

actually... with this attitude you'll probably love it
its kinda stayed with me since I saw it & I find myself quite fancying seeing it again..
its like a Korean monster movie crossed with transformers, the scale of it all does have a bit of wow factor
(but then this is just my opinion.. me, who puts "Dinoshark" up there in her top monster films )

That's the impression I got from the trailers. I just wished I lived closer to a friend of mine who loves and buys all these types of film.
