He says he's bisexual anyway, so my niece (who is in love with him) might not have to go through the sense of devastation and loss I felt when George Michael broke my heart and trampled all over my dreams.

I feel your pain, I knew all the words to last Christmas, my mum and dad must have wished they'd not bought me that record that year

I didn't really like him all that much until I went to the 'Wham! The Final' concert Aimee. I went with 5 other girls from my school and was hooked. It was a magical day...Gary Glitter was a support act and he was brilliant too, surprisingly. I became a superfan after. That whole summer consisted of me and my friends practically stalking George Michael....we tracked down where he went for coffee in the King's Road and found his dad's restaurant in Bushey... we were 13 year old girls but ah the shame of it

I can't believe that many, many years ago we went to a restaurant in Northwood called the Bel Air ......very nice restaurant and a DJ playing music as a back drop. I remember drooling over the DJ ...................turns out that it was George Michael before he bacame 'famous'.

Gary Glitter went to my school. I never knew him (as it turns out fortunately) .......he was a bit older but did used to hang around with my friends older sister and her BF.

But as far as George goes .........he's still in my fantasy dozen. I don't ever care what stories or fiascos surround him - I think he's lovely!

A dozen? That a bit greedy

Fab story about him being the DJ at the restaurant. One of relatives remembers him playing at the Middlesex & Herts Country Club too before he became a pop star.
