I think a large proportion of us have at some time been very attracted to someone, but they just don't feel the same.

I have experienced this (although we were and still are good friends) and it's both a great feeling and a bad feeling at the same time. I was fortunate to express my feelings so I know the answer, I would have hated not knowing.

Anyway I played the song below for the first time in a long, long time. It's the song I attribute to her and probably always will. I love this song to bits and it always get me a big old lump in the throat.

I would paint the stars for her.

Oh I know that feeling, when I was in the 4th & 5th year of Senior school I was totally in lurvvvvvv with a 6th form boy, who didn't even know I existed

However, years later (probs about 10) I bumped in to him in a bar in Newcastle and he remembered me from school and asked me out. Sadly by then, my torch for him was well and truly extinguished and I thought he was a bit of a pratt, so I politely declined.

I don't recall much unrequited stuff as I seemed to get most targets , but it's so bloomin' long ago now! I've never forgotten Dave Lewis giving me the elbow though, the basssssstard Actually, I should thank him...thank him that I never ended up with him.
