I can't believe how I find it almost impossible to thread a needle nowadays - I use a threader thing which supposedly makes it easier and I still struggle with that.

I know a similar feeling. I see kids up at the school and think ...........oooooooooooh he/she hasn't changed much. Then I realise that it is the child of some of my kids fellow school chums.

Did that this summer with a pasty to eat from the local bakers followed up with an ice cream from the van then a latte from the cafe. It was a perfect day

That sounded like a very relaxing day 
. My favourite way to spend some quiet time is to have a coffee in my local book/coffee shop.
I just wish my coffee shop sold ice cream as I love the stuff.
