Confusion marketing. It seems so many companies try it.
I was in a supermarket recently, you know, one of those that tells us how they are so much customer focused in their ads. Well they price apples differently depending on if they are loose or in packs. One is by the kg, the other is b y the piece or apple if you like. So you have to piddle around trying to find scales and work out what the pack price per kg is. Come on just price everything the same by the kg. Grrrrrrrrrrr.
But back on topic. Yes the phone companies should have done this ages ago.
I just pay a fee every month now on my mobile and get...free phone calls to any 01, 02 and 03 numbers and any mobile. Also free...0800, 0845, 0870 and 0808 and unlimited internet
Edit...and a brand new Samsung Galaxy S4 too boot

what you need is online shopping.... everything has a comparison price - single apples have an 'ea' price and if they're sold by weight, they also show an average price 'each' apple. Similarly things like meat and drinks all have an equivalent price per kilo or litre. It's quite enlightening when you scan along the prices per kilo for stuff like cheeses..
As for mobile phone bills - they don't bother me, but someone needs to force the energy companies to all bill in the same manner kw hours/ standing charges
