I just can't get my head around why you'd announce a sticky was on it's way by putting up a sticky. . but hey ho maybe I am weird..    just ignore me 

.it's probably because I have a thing about sticky's .. apart form hurting my scrolling finger I think if they aren't just info sticky's they stop a lot of new discussion in the topics area from starting . and I rarely visit them as they get too jumbled up with too many things going on in one thread  so I end up not joining in
