Thanks Pengy. I knew someone would be able to help

Never having had one of these types of mobiles before, its all new to me

I got a thick book about this phone I purchased online but it still seems easier to ask someone who knows. Although the book is good for reference

I've lost count of the times I've come in here asking for info on the iPhone cos I hate it with a passion and can't understand Apple's complicated way of doing things

The thing is Pengy, we know someone will have been there already and will have the answer and that's what's so good about this forum

You're a shoe-in with that one! (that means yes, you can get onto the internet (and this forum) with it.)  However, as I don't have a smartphone myself. I can't help you with the specifics.

The first thing you need to do is open the MENU and find the INTERNET option.

That's as close as a "I don't know - hope that helps" as you'll ever get from Fluffy

go to the play store. . icon looks like a carrier bag with an arrow on it. .search for google or Firefox browsers. .download one or both. .open one and type the address for this place in the address bar..  or search for gagajoyjoy and click on whatever comes up.. make sure you have an internet connection first..

when the page opens there will be a bit in settings that says show browser view. .you can see everything on that one. .default is mobile version which lacks a lot of functionality. .

if none of that makes sense search google for videos on how to connect to a particular site via a Galaxy S4. .there'll be plenty out there.

Mount Olympus *Olly*

Internet on the Samsung Galaxy S4 is covered by two applications: the inbuilt browser and Google Chrome. This might lead to some confusion as, for the most part, the two applications do precisely the same thing.

However, the default browser (Samsung's own) still comes with a few tricks of its own, and has been upgraded since the Galaxy S3. It's not any quicker, which is odd given the uprated processor, but that's likely because the Galaxy S3 was already running at the top end of the speed the connection would let it.
