Where do you stand on the big fella?
Do you think Big Foot really exists or do you think it is a hoax or just a bear or something similar (man in costume)?

I DO know he rocks that onesie
You know what they say about large, hairy, bipedal humanoids with a big foot
In my mind he growls
He just hasn't met me yet ...
My ideal qualities in a suitor are, coincidentally, between 6.6-9.8 ft tall, weighing in excess of 500 pounds. I also prefer dark brown or dark reddish hair (all over baby). I love large dark eyes, a pronounced brow ridge and a large, low-set forehead.
Sasqmatch.com ... we are meant to be ...
I think his sensitivity would totally compensate for the smell ...
And he's built for a Scottish winter ... so ...
Nope, sorry EC, can't say I've given Sasquatch much thought

As far away as possible

Given the opportunity, definitely on his shoulders.
I think there might be something, possibly a sub-species of bear, a bit like what they have just discovered in the Himalayas with regards the yeti.
Of course he exists - he lives most of his life at the South Pole with Santa Claus and the tooth fairy and occasionally with the Easter bunny
all joking aside - there may indeed be a bear type creature that will turn out to be him or her

Taking your points above and assuming that there is something out there I decided to do a bit of thinking on the subject.
It would seem that there have been stories of these types of creatures dating back as far as 1840. In all this time you would have thought we would have found one either alive or dead (the skeleton/remains).
Black bears have lived over 30 years in captivity but in the wild would be less given the environment and challenges they face. That would mean a similar creature would need to procreate, therefore there would need to be other males and females. How many in number would be enough to sustain a species? Also how would inbreeding affect the gene pool?
Technology over recent years would suggest we have the means to remotely surveil areas where sightings have been made.
What do you think on my thoughts?
