Although ctrl+c is copy, I think for paste it's ctrl+v, rather than ctrl+p which is to open the print menu.
I have a Galaxy tablet and haven't a clue how to copy and paste with it. I am getting far more used to it now .....getting better with the keyboard (a bit). Just find it a bit limiting re posting pics and links etc.
Any advice welcome

I was about to say place and hold your finger on the word or part of sentence you wish to copy, then as if by magic a sizing bar appears so you can adjust to taste.

BTW, ctrl+x is 'cut' ie. will remove from the original position, but will still let you paste it elsewhere.
