I do get the impression that teaching kids might not be for you Saint 

I have family and friends who work in education and I see the odd scenario that they have recounted.

But teaching kids would never be a good career for me either. I don't have the patience.

I think last year it was Educating Essex and this Year it's Educating Yorkshire.

I gave up on it last week, the head teacher thinks the show is about him 

When i was teaching i thought,

"Why am i giving the best years of my life totally to benefit a stranger, someone elses kids."

The parents couldn't give a sh-- about how hard i worked, ever.

It was just my job, right? I was exhausted all the time and felt like a slave.

All this at 19 . . . erm, no thanx!!

Actual teaching in schools was part of the teacher training.

Its called 'serial school experience' and at the end of the first year I did 'block school experience' where i had my own class for 3 painful weeks.
