Cinds, why don't you suggest he shaves his head the next time he is of work for a couple of weeks, just to see how he feels about it. If he really hates it, then he has time for it to grow it back in (I cut mine twice a week as it grow fairly quick). I think once he has tried it he would be less apprehensive at losing it.

My dad used to have a full on comb over... until he came in from the pub one night when i was about 15 and shaved his head.... He's kept it the same ever since

Both my boys (aged 31 and 34) are very blonde with receding hairlines - my Dad lost most of his hair when he was very young. I think the 'hair' gene goes down the maternal line doesn't it?

I believe so Soozy!

I dunno, both of my mothers parents went bald, whereas Mother at 72 has really thick hair with only a smattering of grey.

Mr C has the same as his Father.

If it's down the maternal line then that'll be why both my boys have nice thick locks   #2 son is sporting what can only be described as an Elvis quiff that out-Elvis's Elvis   It's almost a Patsy up-do

My daughter has fine(r) hair like her dad.  She's not happy
